Beware of cheaters
The spread: Let's try and give you an overview of what a poker scam is, so you could identify the scenario for yourself...


Let´s say a guy named Joe, crook No. 1, holds three kings in a Poker hand. The pot is big and growing bigger. Joe wants to win, and is sure that four kings (if he had ´em) would take the online poker pot. So he signals to crook No. 2, name of Marry, asking (index finger on edge of design) if he has a king. Harry signals ´yes´.


Now all the boys have to do is get that king from harry´s hand to Joe´s... This method is also common at Stud Poker


First step in the spread is for Joe to get rid of a card. Naturally this is not one of his three kings but one of the two Worthless cards in his hand. He uses sleight of hand to duck this card into his pocket or he may put it under his armpit knee angle. Or, if he´s near the discard pile, he then and there can dispose of the card by putting it into the online poker dirt, which what gamble call the discard pile. First he palms the card, Then, in a Seemingly harmless gesture, he reaches Over and nervously pushes the discards a little to one side, as though they annoyed him. But what he really does is to furtively drop his unwanted card on top of the discard pile.


Now he has only four cards in his hand. Joe keeps raising. Be keeps getting raised back, and at last he is called, He has to show his hand−that four-card hand. ´Four kings!´ he announces confidentially smacking his cards down as a unit, one squarely on top of the other, so that only the top online poker card shows.


This is the moment Barry, across the table, has been awaiting. Since Joe signaled, he has had his king palmed neatly in his right hand (the face of the card toward the palm). Now, before anyone else can reach over to spread Joe´s hand, Barry does it. And as he sweeps his hand over the cards to spread them, he slips in his king to make the fifth online poker ´and winning card.


The spread shows how neatly gamblers work together and what skill they have used to perfect their online poker teamwork, To catch a team or teams of crooks working together, watch for signals such as those required for the spread. Sharpen always try to work sitting opposites one another. They never look each other squarely in the face, but keep their eyes glued on each other´s hands.


So keep your eye peeled for that slanting professional look. But when the sharper at Draw Poker or at Deuses Wild does not have a confederate to work with, then the sharp has to work lone online poker hands, and his best bet is the hold-out, called H-O by the wise players,


You´ve guessed it: H-O means the sharper slips the good card or cards out of a succession of bad hands. These stolen cards he secretes about his person until the right cards are dealt him. Then he switches the hold-outs back again to make the winning hand.

Naturally, the main job then is to get rid of the extra cards, once the holdouts are switched back online into the poker hand.
